This is a nice hotel, but be aware. While there is an lovely view over the town, there is a challenging walk up the hill to get to the hotel. Also, people cannot be guaranteed a good night's sleep as the former hotel restaurant is now a party revenue. We we're kept awake until 1.30am by the disco and sadly were given no notice of this.

I have revisited this hotel and found it again to be peaceful and relaxing with wonderfully helpful staff. Everything is clean and comfortable with a good substantial breakfast which sets you up for the day. There is a beautiful terrace to the front of the hotel with the most amazing sea views where is it possible to sit in peace and quiet. As a previous reviewer has written, it is a quaint and charming hotel and I agree with that. It is a 10 minute walk into Acitrezza where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. I think it represents excellent value for money.

Room tip: Front rooms have beautiful views from the private balconies

We have just arrived home from spending 5 nights at this hotel. It is rather dated but in an old fashioned quaint way, we couldn't fault the staff, rooms (although the beds were hard) or how clean it was. The continental breakfasts were more than adequate and the view from the terrace was beautiful. we would definitely recommend the hotel as it's only an 8 minute walk into Acci trezza where there are lots of good restaurants, especially Melinos.

We came back here since we stayed 20 years ago and this hotel has certainly gone down hill. The rooms are stuffy and the bathroom very old, no shower stall , just enclosure with no lip. We noticed a couple flooded their entire room taking a shower. There are no elevators and the stairs are steep. The views from the balcony with sea view rooms are spectacular and the price is also very reasonable. Staff is very nice but not too knowable. Excellent wifi

Room tip: Sea view is a must

Characteristic hotel with personal service, helpful staff and good facilities.

We had a very relaxing holiday in this beautifully peaceful hotel - restaurant currently only available on weekend evenings but plenty of places in Aci Trezza ten minute walk - although steep climb on way back & not advisable in midday sun !
