Our family of four visited Mont Tremblant for a long ski weekend, and on our one rest day off the mountain took the afternoon to go dog sledding with Expedition Wolf. They made the booking process very easy and friendly, and called us on the morning of our ride to confirm the start time. Our four year old twins were very eager to ride the sled and needed to be patient as we waited to go to the starting area with the kennels and get the dogs ready in the sled teams. One of my twins was very dissatisfied that he couldn’t participate in walking the dogs to their harnesses, but the leader of our group took the children along as passengers in the first sled and made sure they had a fantastic time. My husband and I took a different sled and took turns driving. The entire sled ride was about an hour including a hot chocolate/ cookie break midway in a cabin. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and it was the highlight of our trip. Worth every penny. We also purchased he USB drive with souvenir photos and two stuffed husky dogs. Loved the whole experience.

These guys love their jobs and their dogs! It was an interesting experience to harness the dogs, ride on your own if you choose, or use one of them as the main driver. The tour of the dog pound after the trip was a great way to end it.

If your kids love dogs, then bring them here. Half the dogs are rescues. They’re very well treated. They provide medical to the new arrivals

We decided to book this trip to show our American friend a true Canadian experience. (Although it was a first time adventure for all of us. It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon spent sledding through the woods, we got to be both driver and passenger on the sleds. We helped harness the dogs and got to spent some time with them afterwards. Doggy treats and belly rubs all around. Expedition Wolf is actually a dog shelter, providing homes for over 200 dogs, many of whom are rescues. The staff obviously love their jobs, and the dogs obviously love them and everything to do with the sledding. If you could see joy on the face of a dog it would be while it was running across the snowy trails... or maybe that was my face. :) This organization is no joke, a family business, having operated for over 27 years. The guides are dedicated to making sure everyone is safe and having a good time. I was also impressed at how many of our guides were bilingual, tourists who do not speak french will have no issues here. Professional quality photos are sold on a USB at a reasonable price, they make a great souvenir. I cannot recommend this unique experience enough, I will go back for sure! Some advice: dress warmly, plenty of layers. I was happy to have bought those little warmers for my toes and fingers.

Not just a dogsled ride but an experience! Had so much fun, helping get the dogs ready to go. The trail was smooth the scenery beautiful. The dogs are so enthusiastic about getting to run! The guides were lots of fun and clearly have a passion for what they do. Nice to have a break and warm up with hot chocolate before finishing the run. Helping to put the dogs away and visiting with them after made for a lovely ending to the afternoon. They are happy, healthy dogs. I would recommend Expedition Wolf to anyone.
