Was visiting Doune castle, where they filmed the Holy grail and Outlander but sadly there is no cafe. Everyone recommended this place and it was great advice.
Freshly made bread every morning, clean, fresh interior. Pleasant staff and most importantly good selection of cakes!

Enjoyed my soup and cake and if passing through again had my eye on some of the panini. Lovely menu.

if in the area you can’t miss it on the High Street. Seems very popular with the locals as fills up quickly. doune castle 5 mins away.

This has been by far, the best burger I’ve ever had! The bread, the meat, the mustard, the side... everything was tasty and amazing!
My husband has the Scandinavian Club sandwich. He loves it too. But I think I loved the burger more!

This Cafe is especially a nice spring or summer place to stop for lunch. You can sit inside or outside. It is a good half way stop on the walk from Dunblane. Remember to get there fairly prompt for lunch as they can get very busy and run out of specials.

So glad they were open for lunch. Food was good. Friendly service. My phone had no signal, and they let me borrow their phone to call a cab (one wasn't available by the way, and I called 3 companies).

Unfortunately we didn’t have time to sit in as it was very much a flying visit! However friendly welcoming staff! Takeaway lunch prepared quickly and was very nice! Recommend popping in if passing through the area!
