We don’t have a children’s menu as such but will conjure up some equally tasty food and offer smaller portions from the daily menu. We have a selection of books to suit all ages….. Popped in for a quick dinner. Attentive and very friendly service, and I loved the way you can see the food being cooked!

Duck confit was spot on, really well cooked and you can tell the dish has been thought about - no sugary sauces like so many other places. I left feeling as though I'd had a healthy meal.

Thank you :)

We went for a family celebration lunch on a Saturday. Although Clays is a bit more coffees and salads at lunchtime, we had a delicious range of dishes served to us. The food is cooked to order in an open kitchen, so you can see that it's fresh and individually prepared. There's a mixture of classic recipes with signature touches, and one or two dishes with a new and unusual angle on an old recipe.

This is a little gem of a restaurant that somehow made me feel like I was on holiday in my own town. You can sit outside and watch the world go by and appreciate the town with fresh eyes. Thank you so much. The chocolate and raspberry torte is lovely!
