We were in the area at the and if September doing a road trip through the Saquenay region. We stumbled on this place, and what a gem. Agree with a previous post that this “Well off the beaten path, but worth every step there.”

The very rustic surroundings only added to the ambiance. The food was surprisingly good and the service was exceptional. Down to earth honest and sincere.

This is a friendly, authentic, small, rustic-ish restaurant that serves very good food and drink in one of the most stunning environments in North America. Even with limited French, we had great fun with the waitstaff, and to their immense credit they found room for us in an otherwise fully-reserved restaurant. Well off the beaten path, but worth every step there. Highly recommend.

Yummy. Fresh food prepared in the restaurant. What a view! Fun, friendly. I would go back but I never will be in the area again so I'm glad we stumbled upon this place. Be sure to make reservations, it's small. You can dine in or out.

In a beautiful bay in the middle of nowhere lies this little enchanting restaurant. simpke rustic decor (screened in porch to foil the blackflues) and fantastic simple locally sourced food. Every thing was simple, fresh and delicious. The environment is exquisitely beautiful. Worth the detour.

If this review were based solely on the view of the fjord, I would rate the restaurant 5 stars easily, but it is not. The view is truly stunning and peaceful. Be sure to take lots of pictures, and if you're lucky, you'll see a beluga whale or two.

The food was pricey, and was an attempt at being gourmet. Taster, on the other hand, was mediocre at best. The pasta was bland and serving sizes small to medium. The bread was worse than what you could buy at a local grocery store. No flavor and stale.

Service is where this place really falls down. The young man who waited our table was extremely friendly, but does not know how to provide good service. Repeated requests, inattentive, and EXTREMELY slow!

I may go back for a cold beer and the view, but would not waste money on the food. Just not worth the price or aggravating service.
