Had dinner here last night and it was spectacular! The €27 tasting menu was incredible both in quality and quantity, we were simply unable to finish it all. Friendly & efficient service, great value for money, nice ambience at the outdoor seating along the medieval street inside the borgo. Open all year except February, we are certain to return!

Thank cicignon

An amazing eating experience!
We had a taste of the most popular dishes of this excellent ristorante.
A definite must if you pass by this small little town in Tuscany.

We had lunch here and opted for 2 pasta dishes and steak cooked on a stone between 4 people. There was a kilo of meat which you cooked yourself, and we shared the pasta. Ample portions, delicious sauces on the pasta, and we were offered 3 different kinds of salt from around the world, very unusual, but a nice touch. Dessert was a delicious peach tart or chocolate and mascarpone cheese cake, very rich but delicious. We sat outside in the shade and drank a local wine and enjoyed every minute!
Would highly recommend a visit if you're in Magliano.

Went there for lunch in June with another couple and our guide, we were on a bike tour. Our guide had been there many times and knew the owner and wait staff. This was lunch after our morning ride of about 20 miles, we still needed to get back to our hotel, another 15 miles. We ordered an Antipasti, to begin. What began as a six course antipasti starter, which was out of this world delicious, became an almost two hour lunch. A few bottles of wine, a couple of beers, and probably one of the best meals I have had in Italy. We ordered Ravioli, Pasta Ragu, Spaghetti di Mari, home made bread, dessert, and before the antipasti, was a house Chef special appetizer. This was a special, treat, that if in Magliano in Tuscany, Da Sandra should not be missed at any cost. We were all very impressed, MOLTO BENE

Beautifully located in the old part of Magliano and bursting with history Da Sandra offers a menu full of Maremma flavours as well as an excellent wine list. The building is from the 14th Century they tell me and is full of charm. I dined with a friend and we started our gastronomical journey with onion and sweet orange marmalade served with soft goats cheese – remarkable. For first main we ordered fettuccine with wild boar ragout and pici with duck ragout (pici is thicker style home made type of spaghetti). We ate half of each other's dish with such gusto - they sure know how to make a good pasta sauce at Da Sandra- so rich with flavour. For our second main course we ordered only ordered one dish and it had to be wild boar cooked in a Morellino wine sauce, so flavoursome and what sauce was left was soaked up with Tuscan bread. Da Sandra has a wonderful dessert menu that changes daily - we had a creme caramel and a bread type crostata - a great way to finish our "journey" and truly amazing to try so many wonderful dishes!
I strongly recommend if you visit Maremma to take a drive to Magliano which is rich of history and suggest you stop at Sandra’s, buon appetito!
