The Hotel was very clean inside the rooms and outside the garden! The rooms where cleaned everyday, the food was delicious and a big variety of choices..
Very nice and friendly staff , asked them for any problem that I had and the solved it immediately. I would recommend this hotel for families , and for couples.. As it is close to the beach (very clean beach) and to a Super Market if you need anything!!

Room Tip: It has a new and an old building. New is nice , but old one is close to the restaurant.

My partner and myself stayed here in June 2015 and i must say it was lovely, we had a pool view room which was a good size and very comfortable. Food was good and plenty of it . The hotel is very clean and the staff are so friendly.

Pyli Bay hotel itself is a quite pleasant place and has a friendly staff. The rooms are rather clean and big enough so I can't complain. The nearest bus stop is close to the hotel so it's a plus. The food was rather boring but it's 3* so I wouldn't expect delicious dishes. I tried only wine and beer at the hotel so I can't tell anything about alkohol drinks. The only animation attraction was a Greek night on Fridays. It was quite nice and amusing. The only thing I couldn't stand were mosquitos - I really hate them so it's good to buy something againts them.

Just returned from Pyli Bay Hotel having had a really good week there .This was our sixth visit. This hotel offers excellent value for money .It is a Greek hotel not part of a big chain but family owned and run so expect Greek standards and good Greek style food. This hotel is not used by the big British tour companies so few English guests but many from Holland and Germany and France.there is no entertainment but nice bar areas for sitting and chatting , lovely gardens and two pools , each with a children's small pool .Do note that this hotel is three star Greek style .You will find it clean , comfortable , and neat by Greek standards ...but it is not luxurious .The all inclusive label here means free local drinks from 10. am till 11.30 p.m. And three good meals a day. There aren't really any snacks etc other than a few olives at the bar...but believe me , you don't need them .There is always plenty of tasty food including salads and veggie and fish and meat options. The food style is more tasty Greek home cooking than posh cuisine and rarely is there chips or pizza !If you go to Greece for the true Greece experience then this hotel will not fail you.
The sea is just a short walk and several rooms offer sea views .The sands are beautiful and the sea ideal for children. The local beach offers sunbeds and wind surfing and the local village offers a few tourist shops and taverers. The setting is rural and fairly undeveloped with east walking and cycling and quiet roads for driving. The hotel is surrounded by small holdings and hamlets but as Kos is a small island its not far to a small town. The local buses are very good and it's only a couple of Euro to Kos town.
If you want a quiet seaside and a good all be it basic hotel I really do recommend Pyli Bay .We have never not enjoyed our stays here.

Room Tip: Third floor rooms in D block offer good sea views. This is an older block so the bathrooms are more o...

We arrived at this hotel late at night and were left a stale sandwich and some apples in the fridge unfortunately due to our late arrival we missed breakfast and soon found these horrible cheese and ham sandwiches were only bar snacks available too along with some olives, tomato, cucumber and feta. These lie out on the bar all day and are just a soggy mess. The rooms are small but have everything you need and are cleaned daily. The beds are very uncomfotable though.
We took the all inclusive option but I would advise against it! The food is very repetitive with not alot of choice and you can only get icecream between 4-5pm which isn't great when you have small children in the heat. There is ice-cream which you can buy which you will find with almost everything. Diet cola is not part of the AI and the only alcoholic drinks available under AI is brandy, wine, ouzo and beer. The male bar staff are rude and will serve everyone else before you when they see the AI wristband and don't expect your table to be cleared between courses either when you are AI, this left us with piles of dirty dishes on our table at every meal.
The hotel itself has a lovely garden area but the surrounding area is quite bleak with not much else around. We weren't impressed with the restaurants nearby. The beach had quite a bit of litter but is still nice and only a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
We hired a car; the island is lovely and worth a visit. It's easy to travel around in a short space of time.
Air-conditioning is 5 euro per night extra which you will need as there are loads of mosquitos.
My husband also cut his hand on broken glass left on the bar, the bar man was more interested in making sure he wasn't being blamed rather than helping my husband stem the blood flow. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful though.
The baby pool next to the park when we arrived was dirty but was eventually cleaned. There was no entertainment for the children and I would say this hotel is more suited to OAP's.
I wouldn't return.
