Myself and my partner decided we wanted to treat ourselves to a relaxing retreat in the countryside. After many hours searching the net, we found Boningale Manor.
We couldn't be happier we found this beautiful bed and breakfast.
On arrival, we could already feel this was going to be a special trip.
We were warmly welcomed by the owner and made to feel at home.
We were shown around the idyllic surroundings before being taken to our bedroom (room number 2). The room was extremely spacious with a huge on-suite and amazing views of the beautiful sunken garden.
After having a laze around on the cozy bed, we decided to take a trip out to Shrewsbury. Again, this is such a lovely Town.
After a very relaxing nights sleep, we woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day we had arranged.
We had our breakfast downstairs in the dining room. My partner had a full English breakfast (with all of the trimmings) all produce are locally sourced and eggs from their very own hens in the gardens! I had scrambled egg, smoked salmon and asparagus, this was truly delicious.
I can see why this bread and breakfast has 5*, i would recommend the property to anyone, and i cant wait to return in December 17.

Room Tip: Room 2, brilliant views

It was a real pleasure to host you both - in fact my own partner was commenting on how we always seem to attract the nicest guests! As you (and several others) have commented, we set out to offer 'welcome' and 'feel at home'' - we avoid 'formal' or 'twee' like the plague!

I'm particularly glad you enjoyed our breakfasts. We will not be losing our Breakfast Awards. We source from great quality butchers and greengrocers. It costs more, but the value shines through in the flavour. There's no joy in serving Greasy Joe sausages or those mainly filled with cereal - good sausages HAVE to be reasonably expensive. Conversely there's great joy in serving properly dry-cured bacon smoked in a real smokehouse, with the rind all crackled (I recall your partner delight!).

As you say you plan to return in December, consider our self-catering cottages (look on our website). The Round House is Gold-Award! And you can also book breakfasts in The Manor, too, UNLESS you want to cook... .

We stayed here for the weekend with a large family group.

We received a warm welcome and were pleased with our large room for 3 people.

The breakfast is excellent and the quality superb.

It feels relaxed and homely and we all enjoyed our stay.

We would recommend it and will definitely return.

I'm pleased that you enjoyed yourselves. I particularly like hosting larger groups as it is often the case that they are a long-awaited rendezvous and the craic (as the Irish would have it) flows like tea & coffee! The room you had is 280 square foot, so ample for three.

When you next come, do you fancy some White Pudding?!

We recently spent 2 months (May-July) staying in The Round House and The Haywain when we were between houses. Very comfortable accommodation in peaceful surroundings. Convenient for walking, shopping, plenty of eating places, and handy for family.

Room Tip: would recommend The Roundhouse - spacious and comfortable

We booked a 3 night stay, on arrival we received a very warm welcome. The rooms were very well furnished with lovely views over open countryside. Bob was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. Highly commend the cooked breakfast. Hope to go back at the end of June.

When ever I come to this area I always stay in this family run B&B. It is quiet and the service is always excellant. The rooms are heated and have a TV, tea, coffee and biscuits. There are wide range attractions to visit and eating establishments to go to for your evening meals. The breakfasts are filling and last me well into the afternoon.

Dear Michael L

Thanks for such a positive review. There's no point being in this business unless you care fiercely that guest's needs are met! I presume you passed your exam, even though it sounded quite terribly technical.

Kind regards Bob

We stayed here for the weekend so we could visit our son based at RAF Cosford, 4 miles away. Bob and his 'son-in-law' could not have been more friendly and helpful. The full english breakfast was superb and they were more than happy for our son to join us for our second breakfast. The first night we ate at The Shrewsbury Arms in Albrighton (very good) and the second night Bob recommended the Aroma Indian Restaurant, above the Co-op in Albrighton (buy your alcohol in the Co-op and take it in with you as they do not have a drinks license) which was excellent. So altogether a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will definitely be returning. Thank you.

There's no point being in the accommodation business if making sure guests are satisfied is not what motivates you. So your positive feedback is greatly appreciated.
