What a wonderful weekend we all had at Blessingbourne Estate. We were there for our sons 13th Birthday. As he wanted to go on the mountain bike track, which was fantastic!!!
The apartment was just lovely, everything you needed was there. The whole weekend was just perfect. Thank you so much Colleen and Nick and boys for all your kindness we will be back soon.

I feel compelled to write this review. Yet in doing so am unearthing a hidden treasure .. and may find it hard to get a booking next time! Anyhow when you experience something exceptional it’s worth sharing!

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment over Easter - Joanne, Philip, Andrew (17), Rachel (15) , Hannah (7) and Harvey (golden retriever). Blessingbourne exceeded our every expectation. We wanted a relaxing break in Ireland with walks for the dog and things for the kids to do and time for Rachel to study. If you’re a family or a couple or a group of friends you’ll have a great time.

Blessingbourne apartments are in a sunny courtyard beside the house itself. And the accommodation is very comfortable and clean and homely with everything you could ever need.. It is on a working farm so there are hens, peacocks, cows and goats galore. It’s set on a 500 acre estate with lake, woodland and trails. They are even building mountain cycle trails round the grounds. And Fivemiletown is only 10-15 mins walk away for supermarket supplies, hotel and some shops.

During our stay we ..
- Went boating on the lake twice .. taking the dog with us
- Had many walks round the lake, through the woods and on cycle paths from dawn til dusk!
- Walked into Fivemiletown for coffee, shopping , delicatessen etc. It’s so close. Best family meal we’ve had in a while enjoyed at Village Hotel.
- The kids spent many safe and happy hours watching the animals, cycling around the grounds, walking the dog, visiting the lake.
- Got a tour of the Carraige (and helicopter) museum courtesy of Nick!
- Even had a trip to Enniskillen 20 mins away
- Sat out and soaked up the sun (yes NI and Sun in same sentence)

Owners/hosts Colleen and Nick could not be more friendly and really make you feel at home. They really go out of their way to help you get the best out of your visit. And perhaps our biggest complement is that our son who has special needs felt so welcome and relaxed throughout. That’s a big compliment believe me!

So in summary it’s a big recommendation from us. And if you go tell Colleen we sent you!

Philip and Joanne

We have been going to blessingbourne now seven maybe eight years! maybe more ,and each time we leave we cant wait to get back. Our children would stay there permanently if they could, as i think most children would given that choice. The peace and quiet, the relaxed mode that you slip into and the beautiful surroundings all leave you with a memory that will stay with you for a long long time. Nick and Colleen are such wonderful hosts, they are so friendly and give such a warm welcome no matter how many times you visit. The Manor has so much to offer everyone, long walks, tennis, boating, fishing,oh and this i must mention,we are looking forward to our next visit by which time the new cycle path round the estate will be open and hopefully be well used (by the whole family ).My wife and two children would stay at Blessingbourne twice maybe three times a year for long week-ends or maybe a week ,we have even popped down for the day on occasions. In fact i think the frequency of our visits is increasing rather than diminishing. On our last visit my daughter even brought her horse so it really is pet friendly.I really need to sign off now as i could go on and on and on,but don't take my word for it go and see for yourself trust me you will love it

I was at Blessingbourne with a group of colleagues on an overnight residential. It is a most beautiful location, secluded yet very close to Fivemiletown. The self catering apartments are wonderfully equipped, they are warm and cosy and just right for a group or families who want their own space yet be together. As a group we were also in the barn for our strategy sessions and breakfast. All the scones, tray bakes and other goodies were supplied by local producers and were delicious. The hosts Nick & Colleen attended to our every need and are ready to give lots of tips to visitors. We were able to walk to Fivemiletown in 10 minutes for a wonderful evening meal in the Valley Hotel. We will definitely return and would recommend it to anyone wanting a self catering experience

Warm hospitality from Colleen and Nick all through the stay, pity it was only three days.
Took dog with us for the first time, he loved it, lots of walks through the wooded estate a lake to cool down in, friendly natives - labrador and jack russel on site.
Blessingbourne is ideal for relaxing in the comfortable rooms which have all you need, places to eat out very nearby in Fivemiletown (Valley Hotel - excellent), shops for any food you need, recommend Gary Coates butcher/deli homemade bread, pies, etc etc.
Very easy to find as its just off the main road, picture postcard setting with gardens sweeping down to the lake in front of the lovely house.
Enjoyed the tour of the house including history of the family and background of the estate.
What more could you ask for??

I recently visited Blessingbourne with my husband and young family, a 4 year old and 3 year old - what a wonderful place for everyone! From the minute we drove through the beautiful Clogher Valley and up the lovely avenue to Blessingbourne we were captivated. Colleen and Nick gave us a wonderful welcome and showed us to our lovely apartment looking over the estate and almost immediately the resident peacock called to see who had moved in, the kids were in awe. They could not wait to get exploring and were not disappointed, from Llamas to goats, dogs, cats and of course peacocks they had an amazing time. The apartments are beautifully finished and furnished, with all you will need for a great break, toys are even supplied as are bikes and buggies for the family and are set around an intimate courtyard which proved very social for both adults and children! My kids had practically adopted the dogs, the poor things must have been wrecked with all the exercise! I would definitely recommend a peep at the wonderful coach and carriage museum on site which enthralled the whole family. While at Blessingbourne we had planned to tour the local area, but we never actually left the estate there was so much to do and see, the kids made new friends and were kept occupied throughout, in fact farming may be a career choice for the 4 year old....all in all we had a wonderful relaxing break and every member of the family can't wait to get back....Thank you Colleen & Nick for a lovely break and hopefully see you soon!

Our first experience at Blessingbourne was so magical we will return time and again. The grounds are magestic, the animals absolutely enchanting and the converted stables and courtyard are splendid. However the most amazing part of the Blessingbourne experience is how at home you are made to feel. For your time there you feel part of the family and are able to relax and take your time as you would like to at home. Since returning home we have already planned another trip to Blessingbourne and have told our friends - this is a place that must be experienced!
