I am a frequent business traveler to Japan and recently stayed at this hotel for the first time. The hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful with good levels of English spoken.
Room was small but more than adequate and breakfast was pretty good.
Location is pretty good - a 5 minute walk to the station and bus terminal which have lots of shops, restaurants etc in the nearby vicinity.
No complaints at all - pretty much what you expect from a reasonably prices small Japanese hotel in Tokyo - I will stay here again without hesitation.

I stayed at the Persimmon Hotel during a side trip to Niiza, and basically needed a bed. The rooms are clean, quite small, and contain all the amenities you need (fridge, hot water dispenser, and all the bathroom sundries). This is an ideal hotel for business travelers, but I can't imagine a family staying here - everything is just too small.

The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes away from a JR station and bus service, but the peace and quiet of the neighborhood makes for a good rest. (Though there was a nearby rooster alerting the neighborhood of dawn each morning!)

The breakfast buffet offered somewhat limited choices - Western style and Japanese. I gave in and went Japanese. If you've ever had fresh shiitake, you'll never eat it again in another country without grimacing - it was so tender and delicious here, I had to have thirds. The eggs were also quite fresh, the Japanese style toast (twice the size of Western white bread) was tasty, and the jams are real fruit - no corn syrup here. Also enjoy a bowl of rice with Hijiki - you'll feel the energy surge through your body - a perfect cure for jetlag.

I recommend the Persimmon for a good nights rest at a bargain price, but don't expect anything above 2 star service. This is basically a place to sleep, but it's clean, has more toiletries than you'll ever use, and a charming rooster to begin your day.
