I'm used to the fact that beds in hotels in eastern Europe are on the hard side from an American perspective, but this hotel's bed was the hardest and most uncomfortable we experienced. Also, I'm used to towels in eastern European hotels being a little on the rough side, but these towels were sandpaper. Lastly, the AC was pretty much pointless.

I'm giving this two stars based on the positive side of their restaurant which provided a lovely breakfast.

Stay here at your own risk.

We did a LOT of research on where to stay when visiting Plitvice lakes. This place fit the bill perfectly. Less than 15 minutes away from the park, but way less expensive and I imagine better cared for than the cattle-call hotels within the park. We got in late and actually had to wait an hour for the still-hopping restaurant to clear out! Once we checked in, we went to a late dinner and enjoyed every bite. Seriously. The soups were the only think I wouldn't recommend. My Chicken skewer was to die for, and my Husband's Weiner schnitzel was so good! The stay as also lovely. Sure, everything is brown, but I'm not overly critical on decor if the place is spotless, as this place was. The included breakfast was classic Croatian fare, and VERY hearty. The best part was that we were served at 7am and still managed to get to the park by 8! Overall, recommend the food, the stay, and everything in between.

Had great Pizza there. Family portion is about 90kn, and two of us could not have eaten it.
You can pick your ingredients on Pizza whatever you want. Location is nice and staff is polite. Will come to eat again.

We had such an absolutely wonderful time at Villa Plitvike Sedra - I would definitely recommend it, from the moment we arrived we were so impressed by how the entire family went out of their way for us from the father, to Ivan to the receptionist Barbara. Such great service, from organising transport to a very generous breakfast to dinner restaurant right next door with good food and reasonably priced. Rooms were spacious, big beds and clean. Quiet and peaceful location but close enough to easily take the bus to the lakes from main road. A great stay.

We had a simple room with 3 beds, a bit cramped but it was clean and met our needs. The room was a bit noisy as it fronted the main road. The girl at the reception was very helpful and courteous. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed an excellent glass of the local white wine. Overall it was a great deal for our family of three. I would note that there are no shortage of B&B's in this area so one could always find somewhere to stay.
