Sunset Grill at Blue is the best spot for breakfast whilst sojourning at Blue Mountain Village. And Sunset Grill is cool for lunch, too. But to be perfectly honest, it simply rocks for breakfast!
I would say Sunset Grill at Blue is aided by the fact that there are no other veritable full-service "breakfast joints" available at Blue Mountain Village. However, to the good credit of Sunset Grill, they do not let that fact harm their service -- food and server -- in any way. Sunset Grill at Blue upholds the fine service standards you'd encounter at any other Sunset Grill location in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). So I humbly issue a "thank you" to Sunset Grill at Blue for doing so. Please keep it up!
Our party of six persons gleefully dined for breakfast at Sunset Grill at Blue for each day of our week-long stay at Blue Mountain Village. And for each day, we were addressed and served promptly at the door when we approached its entrance, and we were seated to good effect, and a table was dutifully prepared for our large party. Moreover, we were well-served each day by our server, Ali. (Hello, Ali). We appreciated Ali's joyful disposition and demeanor and happy approach to her work. I even got treated to a coffee mug addressed with "Hello, Gorgeous!" when I sauntered into the restaurant late one morning. In fact, we looked forward to the next morning all the time because we knew it meant a visit at Sunset Grill at Blue!
Since we frequented Blue Mountain Village in late August 2018 -- the apex of summer vacation season --- Sunset Grill at Blue was always extremely busy every morning by hungry families needing their breakfast fix. However -- to the sound credit of the whole staff at Sunset Grill at Blue -- the entire server personnel were visibly serving the patrons of the restaurant like attentive bees to their honeycomb. Well done.
When I go to Sunset Grill at Blue anywhere in the GTA, I order the exact same thing: the "Sunset Super" (with scrambled eggs), and I interchange it only in ordering either their bacon or sausage links with it to change it up. (It also comes with Sunset's potatoes). I opine their "Sunset Super" dish provides a little bit of everything that makes breakfast special, homey, and fun. I may attest that the "Sunset Super" tasted great at Sunset Grill at Blue. And it was washed down the esophagus with a warm mug of coffee. Mmmmm. I am salivating as I write the review!
The menu prices of Sunset Grill at Blue are reasonable, "normal," and fair. It is similar to the other Sunset Grill locations in the GTA. In fact, I would say this is yet another endearing aspect of Sunset Grill at Blue: that whilst the menu prices of almost every other restaurant at Blue Mountain Village are -- ahem -- "elevated in stature," Sunset Grill at Blue offers you reasonable menu prices that will nicely accommodate your budget. Kudos to Sunset Grill at Blue for this aspect, as well.
Others in our party ordered the same dish as mine --- that is, the men of the party -- whilst he ladies typically ordered their oatmeal and fruit dishes. They enjoyed their meals at Sunset Grill at Blue, too. Smiles were forged all around and forged aplenty! We always exited Sunset Grill at Blue contended and full.
Whenever I visit and lodge at Blue Mountain Village, Sunset Grill at Blue will be a sure staple. I can almost guarantee that it it will be yours, too. And deservedly so. Enjoy Sunset Grill at Blue. Cheers!
