I have stayed at brook meadow hotel for business over the past year on and off. I have found this to be the best hotel in many ways. I travel up and down country and yet to find a better place.
Food - top quality and cooked to perfection extremely talented chef.
Staff - very friendly professional and most helpful.
The rooms - very compatible spacious and clean.
Overall this hotel is hard to beat.

Stayed for two nights with my wife at end of April.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was extremely spacious and had a lovely view over the beautifully kept gardens.
Ate dinner both nights in the conservatory restaurant. Whilst the choice is not massive, there was variety, and the food was fresh and absolutely delicious ( hence eating on the second night also ). Hooton train station only 2 mins by car( bit iffy to walk as winding country road). Ideal for touristy trips into Liverpool.
Will definitely stay again when visiting this neck of the woods.

I am the Secretary of the above and our members have attended the Brook Hall Hotel (previously named the Brook Meadow Hotel) for at least eight on the first Thursday in every month. Up to 40 members for 10 months in the year and over 80 members and their ladies and friends twice a year June and December. The management, staff without exception, old quaint surroundings and the lovely ambience is consistently excellently wonderful. The food is served silver service and is consistently of the very highest standard. We are an elderly groups of retired business men who are extremely satisfied with every aspect of all the facilities available to us. There are ongoing progressive improvements to the interior and exterior of the building and the impact of those improvements are kept to a minimum while we are at our monthly luncheons. I and my colleagues again without exception would recommend the hotel, management, employees, facilities, food and surroundings to anyone to please give it a try and please try the hotel again to see the ongoing progress and then make informed comments hopefully being as satisfied as our group of gents are. Well done all at Brook Hall.

We booked a two -nights break and found that The Brook Meadow Hotel is in the process of becoming The Brook Hall Hotel and much time, effort and love is being put into the transformation. As a mature couple, our main requirements are a warm welcome, good food and a relaxing and comfortable stay. Despite the changes we enjoyed a really good break.

The staff are, without exception, warm, friendly and always willing and able to help Our room was comfortable, the food was cooked perfectly, presented well in substantial portions and served nicely hot . Although the menu was not extensive we found it quite adequate for the length of our stay. A highlight of our break was the beautiful garden where we enjoyed the range of shrubs, mature trees and flowers and the calm peaceful ambience.

Our main day out destination was to the national waterways museum at Ellesmere Port which is quite close. We had an excellent day and found the museum full of interest. Lovely weather helped a lot.

We will certainly aim to return to Brook Hall in the future. It stands by the lovely countryside of the Wirral and there is lots to do in the area.

My partner and I visited Brook Meadow Hotel with a gift voucher that we had been given for Christmas.
On arrival at the hotel the hotel is a quaint building that I imagined would have been a stately home, it doesn't look as big on the outside yet the inside is a labyrinth of rooms with little lounges and a large function room at the back (that we had a sneaky look at!)
It is obvious the hotel is going through some renovations and the rooms that have been done so far are quirky and very homely, I especially like the new library!
The room decor is slightly dated but I think this added to the charm and character of the hotel, my boyfriend particularly liked the 55inch TV, it's the biggest I've seen in a hotel room and he very much appreciated it! Our bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was amazing!
We had our evening meal in the restaurant on the first night and the food was delicious and very well presented, the service was excellent.
Breakfast was a continental buffet and an ordered hot breakfast, I like that it's to order so I could have what I like as I'm quite fussy, breakfast was again delicious and really set us both well for the day.
All in all, once the hotel has been through its full refurbishment I think it will be absolutely fabulous with a quirky charm, all of the staff are extremely friendly and attentive including the owner who had a little chat to us at reception and they couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable, we will definitely return in the future
