This hotel was very clean spacious. The room was massive and the bathroom very spacious. We also had a balcony although not private that overlooks the salt land. They even had petals down as we were celebrating my husband’s birthday which was a lovely touch, and well appreciated. There is also a pool, sun loungers and swings you can chill in the evening here. The breakfast was Sri Lankan which was great and buffet, no egg hoppers or food made to order though. There was one staff member was very friendly and efficient and he ordered us a tuk tuk to our next location. (not sure of his name)
We were only here one night so unsure what the dinner meals were like.
The town itself is a 10minute walk away and doesn't have a great deal in it. There is a grocery store to get any nibbles, although we could only find one restaurant. The hotel is a few minutes’ walk from the beach, which was very pretty and so untouched, we were literally the only people on the beach, you can also walk along the beach into the town.
The only downfall was that the pest control air freshener had ran out and when we came back that evening there was a lot of mosquito about. However when we went down to reception they literally gave us a new one straight away which did the job.
I would recommend staying here.More
