Description: It is situated in the Blackdown Hills on the Devon/Somerset border. The pub has spectacular views as it looks across the Culm Valley. We offer outstanding food from the restaurant from our ever-changing special board and our menu. We also have a selection of local beers.

Food was OK but took SOoooo long to arrive.
When it eventually turned up, the broccoli and stilton soup starter was excellent.
Our main courses were fine but did not appear until 90 minutes after our arrival.

Yes - it was a Saturday night and possibly busier than normal but, if you know there is going to be a significant delay in serving the food, please tell us at the outset. Or don't take so many bookings if you can't cope with them.

We walked to Half Moon from our campsite. It took us half an hour but worth it. We enjoyed a few Real Ales and both had Ploughmans lunch and a summer pudding with clotted cream for pudding ( well we did have to walk back) Food and Ale was very good and the staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend as rest of the menu looked good too. Shame we don't live closer.

We went for a roast dinner, the food tasted amazing. Only downside is the lack of changing facilities for young babies. Will defiantly go back again without the kids!

Went here for lunch recently and will definitely return. Beautiful views and a lovely garden. Inside is a lovely pub with excellent beer (and other drinks) and food. Lots of choice of freshly cooked local produce. If you are in the area do try and visit, you will enjoy it I am sure.

After spending 4 hours in traffic, we turned of the road to find this pub (it is off the beaten track) and what a find it was. A stunning pub with excellent food and wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. A real pleasure and would recommend it to all.
