Didn't see many striking old churches during our short stay in the Highlands (most seemed to have been built late 1800's onwards), but this church the most striking I have EVER seen not just because it's a pretty little thing but the position it holds on the edge of Loch Shiel is striking and surreal. We didn't go inside but having since seen people's photos who did, wish I had convinced my husband to (he was in a hurry to get back to the cafe for lunch!).
