We followed the steam train after it had passed over the famous viaduct at Glenfinnan on around the hillside which opened up to the most beautiful views across loch Shiel. And we came to the next train station where there was a quaint little museum about the history of trains in this region and then this dining carriage where the welcome was warm and inviting and we enjoyed a very nice cup of tea before making our way back to the visitor centre at Glenfinnan.

Really cool cafe in a train carriage.

We stopped by on the first day of the season for a lovely lunch served by friendly staff. Highly recommend the pulled pork and blue cheese and the scones were one of the best I’ve ever had!

It’s also a great stopping off point for a scenic walk with views of the viaduct.

We drove past this and happened to park nearby for our little tour of Harry Potter film locations further down the road and we were delighted to find this little gem just off the train station platform!

For five of us, the cost was expensive (£60-70 for drinks and food for all) but was totally worth it for the delightful experience of eating in this sweet little place. the views were breathtaking and we had the best time soaking up this magical dining experience.

Thanks to the friendly team!

Well worth a hike from Glenfinnan viaduct to get some lovely food and a hot drink. The soup was amazing and really welcome on an autumn day.

We visited this place for the first time whilst in the area on holiday. The food is amazing. A good choice of soup, lunch dishes and baking - healthy, fresh and homemade. The service was friendly and cheerful. They were able to cater for our Coeliac wee one as well which was great. A good choice for those gluten-free. This place has the whole package. Highly recommended!
