Had a private boat tour from bohol sea resort and went to visit Virgin island. Actually you are on an island in the middle of the sea, walking on the sand but still water is just a bit under your knees. Has a small "floating market" with couple of markets offering buko, some grilled sea shells, pineapples, chicken and beef. Didnt eat anything beside sweet potato. Recommend you not to eat there cause meet didnt look good. But still it is an interesting small island

I was really looking forward to visiting Virginia Island...I imagined swimming in it crystal clear water..and enjoying the beautiful 'untouched' environment...Ha ! Ha !...What a joke..the entire island is covered with stalls selling fish..there are loads of guys selling pearls..who won't leave you alone....gosh ..what a disappointment..after 10 minutes ..all I wanted to do was leave..

I participated on an Island hopping which included a half an hour stop in Virgin Island. I Think it was the clearest water I've ever seen, with incredibly beautiful colors! A must see if in Panglao.

This is literally a Virgin Island - not much here but clean, unpolluted beach and a few stalls in the narrow stretch of shore that sell freshly-harvested sea urchin (“uni” is a pricey delicacy served in most high-end Japanese restaurants, but happily served here by Manang Marilen for only PhP50 for 3 pcs.), chicken barbecue, banana-cue and bottled drinks. During low-tide, the water is shallow until so many meters from the shore, so not much for swimming. A good place to visit, nevertheless, if you just want to take in a lot of sun, walk along the shore, take nice photos and enjoy what this small island has to offer.

Sandbar full of makeshift canteens and seller of pearls who literally hound you from the moment you get off your boat.
People peeing everywhere as there are no bathrooms. Booked private island hopping. Took us here and balicasag. Both not worth the trip. Food here is cheap. P300 for whole swordfish, 10 bucks per uni, 100 per small abalone but still not worth the trip. Can see how it could be amazingly beautiful without all the little shacks lining the sandbar.
