Have stayed here a number of times and it never disappoints . Has the feeling of a country house but with a more modern look due to being extended. The older rooms are often large and have greater character. Stayed in Artist and Fisherman both long on charm , other rooms tend to be small with limited bathroom space .
Have yet to eat in brasserie as always tempted by the Burlington which is excellent , Be sure to give the " greenhouse" adjacent a miss , fine for breakfast but not for dinner . The menu is seasonal;, a fine and extensive wine list to match but take care not to stray.... the prices can be eye-watering as you would expect . Staff very helpful Nigel will always find you something . Very well stocked cocktail bar with knowledgeable staff.
Lovely spar with a swimming pool and small gym,,,,,, take care crossing the road though .More
