We had enjoyed a lovely holiday in Easter 2018 at this property and decided to book again at Easter 2019. Unfortunately, we discovered late in the first evening that our seven month old grandson had a dog allergy. Our grandson was so unwell that at one stage we thought that we might have to leave and return home. When we examined under the carpet in the living room floor we found it was full of dog hair that had not been cleaned properly. My wife therefore completely cleaned the house from top to bottom and reported the matter next day to the office. The outcome was that the General Manager called over the next day and offered one free night’s stay to be taken on our next holiday.
As soon as we returned from holiday we made an immediate booking to return at Easter 2020. When we made this booking we applied the voucher for the one free night against the total cost.
Unfortunately Mains of Taymouth are currently refusing to honour their voucher for the one free night. A separate review will be made against our booking for Easter 2020.
Great location right next to the Loch where there's equipment rentals (kayaks, bikes etc), restaurant/pub with pool table, space to play outside. Top quality house, everything you need for a great relaxing holiday! Great for family trips (games room is excellent and unusual to find) or a friends getaway! 10/10 would recommend:)
