Small hotel decorated in an up to date lovely style. Downstairs lounge has lovely log burner, and views over towards the sea. The restaurant food was lovely, and the service was excellent.
The first room we were shown to was a little small with a very small ensuite, but they had another room free which had a much larger bathroom so we moved. The downside was the windows were all frosted as otherwise you looked at a derelict building next door, so no view. I believe if you want a view you need to talk to them when booking. There was just enough parking, and good location as on therein road to St Ives and there's a bus stop outside to get you there, or a short walk to the railway downhill. They offer use of facilities at their sister hotel which has a private beach, but we did not use this as only down for 2 days.
Great staff, very helpful. Our room was above the kitchen and the room moved every time the kitchen door to the restaurant banged, which it did a lot up to about 10pm. this was also a bit noisy. again...bear this in mind if you like early nights but not a problem if you aren't!More
