Normal "commercial" hotels fully booked so was given this option, what a great hotel! Very different but very quaint, rooms were more apartments in a fabulous setting, very relaxed atmosphere and the staff could not be more helpful. No evening restaurant when we stayed but many options for ordering in and the owner kindly ran us into a nearby town to a restaurant, a pleasant night and not to far so we walked back..
An honesty bar out of hours was unusual but a nice approach, eclectic breakfast with lots of homemade / farm produce options.
Found the hotel wifi very slow but good 3G coverage.
Unusual to find but a very refreshing change from the modern genre of the hotel norm.

Room tip: Top floor attic rooms full of character

The 'Landhotel Classhof' is nice and the staff is super friendly. The Reception is Not occupied 24/7 but when you Ring the bell within a minute somebody will be there. The room was big and Clean and The WiFi worked greaz. The beds are a little small and there is only a bathtbub to shower in. The breakfast was very good, with fresh eggs and Bacon. I was the only guest and The put a little of effort into making the breakfast.

This hotel is different in a nice way and presents amazing value.

Animals are free to roam the grounds including a number of very friendly cats and chickens. This however makes the hotel very picturesque and pleasant. The grounds where very well landscaped and the hotel had a charming farmhouse feel to it.

The furnishings are basic but pleasant in a standard double room perhaps more expensive rooms are better. It was a bit strange that there was no hook for the shower head but this was not a major issue. Some parts of the hotel feel a bit dated but perhaps this because the building is classic.

There is a pool but it seems to have furniture stored inside, which seems a shame!
Breakfast was a good range of items and was very fresh.

All in all great value and a pleasant stay thank you.

Good functional hotel in traditional style. Neighborhood is poor but the hotel is in a nice traditional style. Sad that the shower didn,t have a hook so you could stand underneath it.

Breakfast with a lot of different stuff.

Booking late for a major show in Dusseldorf I was shocked at the prices of the city hotels. Lucklily this meant a map search, where I found the small town of Willich and this HIDDEN GEM of a hotel.

Off the beaten track (you will need a sat nav) this hotel is very comfortable and well run.

Booking the Junior Suits (as they were just a few euros extra) was well worth it. The two rooms I and a colleague had were simply amazing. On the top floor of a converted farm house they are like luxury penthouse apartments, fully fitted kitchens, massive bathroom, huge sitting room, great bedrooms and a spiral staircase to a reading room!

Outside there is a quite court yard, very nice grounds, with bandstand and duck pond!

The staff were very helpful and friendly.
