Description: Ruta del Mulhacen Restaurant in Pampaneira offers traditional cuisine, which recalls the authentic alpujarrenian flavors of yesteryear. Some dishes are made with local and organic products to demonstrate the art of cooking in the Alpujarra. The menu encompasses family traditions handed down to Angelina by her mother "Grandma Marina". Angelina Martin, manager of the restaurant, has been collecting customs and traditions through the generations, deeply rooted in the territory, adapted to their environment and respectful with Nature.

Delicious lunch chosen from wide variety on menu. Staf are friendly & helpful happy to accomodate children. Beautiful views from outside dining terrace. I would recommend the cheese & nut salad' Good supply of interesting tapas while we were waiting for food.

Tenemos una gran variedad de ensaladas y no nos importa personalizar los platos cuando sea posible. Tambiés es importante para nosotros ofrecer variedad y calidad en los platos para los niños. Gracias por su visita.

We had walked around the area and were looking for a place to stop for lunch. So glad we decided to take the advise of the sweet lady outside the shop who asked if we wanted to check the restaurant on the terrace. Amazing views as you enjoy your meal, which is authentic food from the region. We loved it and would definitely visit again.

This place would be easy to miss as it is situated upstairs over a shop but fortunately for us a lovely lady with excellent English was stood at the entrance and invited us to venture in simply to look at the view and take photos, with no obligation to even buy a drink. As it was lunchtime and we were looking for somewhere doing menu del dia (menu of the day) and with 3 courses on offer for under 11 euros we didn't need much persuading. She was right - it is a lovely covered roof terrace with stunning views up and down Poqueira Valley. We enjoyed a lovely lazy authentic Alpurjurran meal served by a lovely smiley waitress who went to great lengths to explain what the choices were - and of course we took lots of photos!
