I booked a two night stay here for my wife and i over the Long Course Weekend in Tenby where i was competing. I wasn't sure what staying outside of Tenby would be like but St Florence is a very pretty village only 10-15 mins drive away and within very easy access. (Heatherton Park is also down the road about 5 mins drive away).

From the moment you turn the corner and see the long drive, you are open mouthed wondering what you will see at the end. A beautiful big house awaits you in stunning countryside and grounds. A very warm welcome from hosts Jane and Alan, along with their team who can't do enough for you the whole time. Both are also very knowledgeable on the area, things to see and do and also experienced with other athletes staying at the house with knowledge of the Long Course event in July each year and the Ironman event in September. They accommodate very early breakfasts, hot meals too especially for the event which is a very kind touch and fantastic to do for their guests.

The hotel has lovely big rooms, they offered the use of outside space to safely secure bikes if required and a washing line and water for the wetsuits after the swim on the friday night.

The bedroom was lovely, nice big room with a fabulous comfy bed. Slightly disappointing electric shower but it did the job.

Breakfast was fabulous too, hot, locally sourced produce and the team working in the hotel couldn't do enough for you.

Near by there is also a couple of local pubs within minutes walking distance as well as Folly Farm, Oakwood and Bluestone not much time's drive away.

Overall a fantastic stay, glorious location with fantastic hosts. Highly recommended whether you were staying in the area for an event or just wanted a quiet weekend away.

Stayed here for one night whilst traveling, 2 of us stayed in room with 2 single beds. The location is lovely and the grounds are very well kept and impressive. Was very clean and the room was very smart with plenty of space. Staff were very helpful and freindily and breakfast was great with lots of choice.

Room Tip: Rooms at front of house are quite and have good views of lawns.

Guest ratings are very high and deservedly so - our 3 night stay should have been longer! All aspects of guest care and comfort are covered in a most delightful and informative manner. The facilities are tastefully splendid (this is an established elegant country house so by definition the very latest decorating/bathroom fashions are irrelevant). Slept like proverbial logs in the peace and quiet. Super service in the breakfast/dining room with a evening meal menu choice too. Wifi, parking and a short walk to the village and two pubs are all to hand. Would not go anywhere else if returning to the area!

We arrived to be greeted and shown to our room and asked if we would like tea. Room/house/breakfast/hosts are fantastic. We are currently sunbathing in the beautiful gardens and been brought tea/coffee/Welsh cakes! Our stay has been very welcoming by our hosts, fantastic stay, highly recommended. We will return!
