Having heard how lovely the scenery is along the Pembrokeshire Coast we decided to spend a few days near Tenby. We chose the Elm Grove country house because of its location. The house and gardens cannot be faulted there are tennis courts, snooker and table tennis and croquet plenty of outdoor seating surrounded by beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside. The breakfasts are very good I myself have a gluten-free diet which was not a problem the staff were all very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The proprietors were also very helpful with plenty of advice on what to do and where to go.

Beautiful country house in it's own grounds about 3 miles from Tenby. Stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Fabulous room (number 5), spacious and peaceful. The owners Alan and Jane were extremely friendly, very helpful and perfect hosts.

What a beautiful, authentic house in the lovely Welsh countryside. Alan and Jane are the perfect hosts, offering helpful information and providing delicious food. I loved our attic room, particularly being able to lay in bed and watch the stars in the dark, non light polluted sky through the velux window The village of St Florence is lovely, with two pubs. The Sun Inn was our favourite, serving great bar meals....and the locals were very friendly, offering to move so that we could sit together comfortably. We were a gathering of three couples for a reunion and had a wonderful three night stay. Would recommend without question. Thanks Alan and Jane, and the people of St Florence for making our weekend special xxx

We stayed here for four nights and have to say it's a lovely place. The owners are incredibly helpful and the whole place has a nice feel. We stayed in room 12 which is I presume the old servants quarters, although nice enough we would have loved to stay on an upper floor and if we were to come back, or recommend, we would ask for a different room as it feels a bit dark and hemmed in. The breakfast is superb and really fills you up for the day and there's a couple of nice pubs within walking distance. Would recommend but not room 12

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay.
Your booking was specifically for our smaller ground floor double room (which is room 12), but if you'd like to return you just need to ask for a non ground floor room.
Our top floor attic rooms used to be the old servants quarters and guests can still see the old bell wires and bells (though they aren't in use now).
We hope to see you again and hope you had a good journey home.

There is not much you can say that hasn't been said by other guests - but you cannot praise this place enough!

Lovely owners, who greeted us like old friends and we received a room upgrade - instead of a cheper room on the top floor we got a wonderful twin room on the first floor with great views and very comfortable beds!

The bathroom/showerrom is a bit on the small side, but adequate - however, it would have been nice to have hooks or a rail to hang up your towels.

Little touches such as a teddy-bear on the bed, Welsh toiletries, fluffy towels and great pillows add to your comfort - we stayed only two nights but wished we could have stayed much longer!

Breakfast was also great - a menu to choose from with lots of options, including a really tasty continental version with delicious cured ham, salami and cheeses.

Just a few steps away there is a nice pub if you don't feel like driving into Tenby in the evening - but the drive doesn't take longer than 7-10 minutes. And parking in Tenby is easy in the evening.
