Description: Attention from the first of December until the thirty-first march we will be attending to all our reservations at the hotel Hare boutik since the restaurant is in reconstruction, same chef same hours the same rules but this time with much more style, for the first time with an incredible sunset in the mountains and right next to my new restaurant so please inform yourself about the rules on the web site and make a reservation

I found this restaurant very interesting, as it is the only one Japanese one in the island. As Japanese, it is more than enough, and I enjoyed the rare experience!

We went here after it had first opened. We could tell it was built with devotion and enthusiasm for Japanese food.
We spent a week on Rapa Nui and loved it so much - this restaurant was definitely the best we went to there. A funny juxtaposition with the history on the island- but a good one.

We had travelled to Japan regularly on business so know a bit about the cooking. The owner is Chilean but worked as a chef for 10 years in Japan. Nice food well prepared and great service. Excellent choice.

We had our final dinner here before departing the Island after a lovely 6 days of exploring. Interior is set up Japanese style, hence sitting on the floor on comfy cushions. The chef comes to your table to personally explain the menu - an added touch that we really appreciated.
The fish is fresh and every dish is prepared with care and presented in a fine and delicate fashion. The chef is very generous and offered us more food we're still hungry. Try the Tahitian beer - it's delicious!
Overall a great experience. Undisputedly the best restaurant on the island!

Really great food with great presentation. Recommend you do the set meal. Chef Kotaro will ask your preferences and then prepares and delivers truly wonderful culinary delights. He's currently just down the street from the airport entrance towards town, but is moving in February. On Feb. 23rd, he'll open in his new spot which is the other direction from the airport and turn left at the big rock in the road. His new place will be a black castle.
