Set on beautiful watch lake, the cabins have a very narrow viewed the lake. While their description sounds picturesque, the cabins leave much to be desired.
Described as sleeping 4 people, we had little space for two people, I can not imagine having two extra bodies in there.
In cabin 2, there was a constant air of propane gas, even with propane turned off, but, thankfully, due to the fact that the door didn’t seal by about 1/2 inch all around, the risk of CO2 poisoning was mitigated.
The door locks automatically and don’t worry if you forget your key, any piece of cardboard will depress the bolt and gain you entry.
Ice was 5$ a bag, firewood is 8.50 and if you bring your own firewood, there is a “corking fee” to be allowed to burn it.
The suites above the lodge were odd and not any better equipped.
First world problems but you should know how it really is.More
