I stayed in Cherasco for two nights in nearby Napoleon hotel.

Tried this restaurant the first evening for having good TA ranking and also close walking distance from hotel.

The first visit was with 2 colleges from work where we shared bottle of red wine along with the main dishes of beef and pork. The taste overall was very good with also personal touch from "owner?".

The 2nd evening beeing alone decided to come back for the good experience the previous day. I was not disappointed.

Next time Cherasco will come back again.

Thank you for the good taste

We were looking for a place to meet some friends from another town. We selected Cherasco as it was the same distance for both couples. Based on the reviews of others on TA, we selected Pane e Vino. The small entrance on the street does not lend itself to the very nice restaurant behind. In addition to such a nice physically nice restaurant, the menu is excellent. Of course, it includes the local speciality of snail, but our group passed on this. Instead we had Sformata, another local specialty, which is basically a cheese flan with some sort of vegetable. This turned out to be a great decision. For dinner we had homemade Gnochhi and also homemade Ravioli, as well as the Barolo Risotto. All of this accompanied by a fantastic wine list at unbelievable prices. As per the traditions of the area, our meal took a couple of hours and allowed us to enjoy not only the food, but also the atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Fortunately we got -without reservation - a table for dinner. The owner suggested fine local prosecco and wine (you get it by glass!!) and fantastic risotto and as second fried mushrooms. Both in highest fresh quality and very delicious. Reservation is recommend

For us, it may be kind a strange with opening times, but it is well worth it to wait. If you visit the place, it is better to reserve your table at busy time, but we probably would't have problem to get a place. Food is great, local, we had a 3 course tasting menu, various, brilliant, top notch. Really nice a personal service, price for wine very reasonable and excellent choice. If you love Barolo and Barbaresco, then strongly recommended. Recommended and enjoy.

My wife and I had an amazing experience here. We came in with a reservation and were greeted like they had been expecting old friends. The owner and his wife run this place.
The service was fantastic!!
We weren't really sure what to order and we had spent all day drinking wines, so we were kind of beat. We ended up thrusting ourselves into their trusty hands. We ended up basically getting a wine pairing menu for the evening. It was amazing. It literally became a wild ride of delicious.
If we had stayed longer, we probably would have been back every night. Please, please, please go here! You'll love it.
