We stayed at The Guest House for 2 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. We always have stayed at the Inn when visiting beautiful Brier Island, but this time decided to stay at the Guest House instead so we would have a kitchen and could cook for ourselves. We have nothing but positive things to say about both places. They are older homes, and yes, they are quirky, but that is to be expected in an older home. Both properties are spotless and well maintained. We loved being able to sit on the front deck and watch the ferry coming and going and the cars driving by. We were in the centre of the village, but it was ever so quiet. The guest house had everything that we needed and then some. And when there was a small item that needed repair, Penny saw to it quickly. We will most definately be back to stay with Penny at one of her properties the next time we come to the island.More
