I had the pleasure of being woken up 10:30 in the evening by a large group of children who checked into the hotel screaming at the top of their voices. They were clearly under the impression that the hotel belonged to them and that there were no other guests at the hotel. The next morning we had to wait for 3/4 hour to eat breakfast as the same group occupied the breakfast venue. To put the icing on the cake the reception then made an error in processing my credit card and I'm still struggling to get the hold removed from my credit card. There is no complimentary water in the rooms and the bar only sells minute bottles of still water and large bottles of sparkling water at a premium price. Never again!

This hotel has a great location. The scenery and ambiance is stunning.

You go up the staircase to the restaurant area and there were no welcome host. So we were kinda lost. Who do we talk to, cause booking was made ahead.

Nonetheless, we ordered a mushroom pasta. While we were waiting for the order. The aircon outside went on. Meaning were we sitting right next to the bedrooms. So when there are people inside and they put the aircon on. It's makes a noice, as the seating arrangement is done. So the restaurant is right next to the rooms. We had to speak a bit louder to, just so that we can be heard.

Our food come and it was season less. I mean there were absolutely no salt or pepper in the food. Even when we asked for salt and pepper. It didn't help. The food was so season less. We doggie bagged it, got up and went home just to get proper salt and pepper. The food was great afterwards though.

Furthermore. The service was great. Thank you!

I always stay here if working in the area.
The room was filthy. Not on or two days dirt but more than that.
The management didnt take it serious. Promises wasn't kept and they never followed it up with me after that to see if i am still happy.

Check-in and check-out were very smooth and quick. Staff tried their best to service guests. The room was not thoroughly cleaned as there were spider webs around the bedroom table. Room windows were very dirty from outside. The quality of television sound was poor.Television programmes offered were very basic and there was no South African news channel. There was no television the bedroom of the apartment. Breakfast was acceptable. Breakfast dishes were not washed properly and had a bad smell, especially when dining around 10:00. Dinner was not good. The quality of sleep was good. The bedroom was very small. The room had a fridge. We felt safe around the hotel. The room was noisy from the people moving outside and from the guests on upper floor. The gardens and parking area were very clean.

Room Tip: Rooms at lower level are noisy, especially on the first block because everyone pass through.

A spacious hotel with friendly and helpful staff, 24hr security on the gate, ample secure parking and a nice swimming pool area and outdoor spaces.

On occasion the service at meal times let the side down with slow and inattentive staff serving meals and only taking drinks orders infrequently. The quality of the food was good however throughout and especially at breakfast (when staff seemed more consistently efficient).

If your room is unfortunately facing the front gate it will be noisy with staff meeting and greeting regularly. They are also able to see straight in to your room and so keeping the curtains closed at most times would be advisable. Even with the curtains open the rooms seemed quite dark, though well equipped for the class and very large.

Room Tip: Request one that does not face the main gate.
