Owner description: The Park is the ideal place to spend a day amidst luxuriant nature. Immerse yourself in the 600,000 square metres of green lawns and ancient woods. Enjoy the panoramas from the rolling hills, explore the maze and feast your eyes on the colourful displays of seasonal flowers. These and much more besides go to make up the natural marvels of the gardens that make for an unforgettable day out at the Park. The garden changes its appearance from season to season: in spring you enjoy the wonderful display of the million tulips of the celebrated “Tulip mania” period: the greatest flowering of tulips in the whole of southern Europe; in summer visitors can enjoy the refreshing shade of the boughs of age-old trees and admire the flowering ornamental water-gardens, while autumn has its own seasonal flowerings to be enjoyed among the vivid colours of trees’ foliage. For the kids the Educational Farm is an absolute must. Here they can meet all kinds of farmyard animals or go to any number of free events in the 2017 programme.

Beautiful and huge park. You can get around comfortably with a rental golf car. It takes at least 4 or 5 hours for the visit. We went when there were lots of blooms and a nice day. Top!

We visited Giardini Sigurta during our stopover on the longer trip. We got the discounted tickets together with golf cart rental for 2 hours from our accomodation. Gardens are beautiful, even we came after the main tulip season. Wort a visit. Count with at least 2 hour, it's minimum, you can spend there half day easily.

Excellent open air park. So much space, so many things to explore. Entry fee to get in, free for kids 4 and below. Golf carts available to rent if you want, but exploring on foot was fine for all. Highly recommended

We spent a pleasant few hours walking around the park, it is well laid out with good paths taking you in a natural circuit; so excellent access with a pushchair, and also presumably accessible to wheelchair users. There are also a number of toilet facilities dotted around the park. There is a good selection of older trees and areas of open parkland which are lovely for children to have a run without worrying about damaging rare specimens. When we visited there were large areas planted up with tulips and daffodils which provided a great deal of colour. I probably wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for gardens to visit as otherwise planting seemed a bit limited, but a lovely location for a walk.

Wonderful park with lots to see. If staying locally you can get a discount ticket from your guest house.
You will need your walking shoes as the park is vast.
Lovely train ride around is available
Kiosks around the park offer reasonably priced foods, snacks & drinks
Get there early in summer as it gets really busy.
Free parking is available
