We stayed in Ginza and it took around 40 mins to travel to Kichijoji. We went to the Inokashira Park, which is closed to the railway station. Unlike Shinjuku Gyoen there are many locals in the park, having picnic and enjoying the nice weather and cherry blossom.
We then went to the other side of the railway station, where there’re plenty of shops and restaurants. We tried the very famous deep fried beef ball but frankly I didn’t enjoy so much as it’s too oily and there’re too much onion. We also tried a 100 yen sushi restaurant and it was nice.
Overall it’s a nice place and worth spending a day or half walking around.
