We were welcomed very pleasantly , decided to stay at last minute . We were given a room overlooking the golf course . It was very relaxing , we enjoyed a dinner and breakfast in their restaurant , there was a mix up in the dinner booking as someone else had taken our table but the staff were very obliging and quickly found us another one

Room Tip: Ask if they have rooms overlooking the golf course as we found it very relaxing and quiet

Attended the location with 7 friends for a golfing weekend away. The room we had was spacious and was a good price. The room lead onto a grassed area which had a BBQ and outdoor table great for cooking a big breakfast after a big night at the club. My friend was able to feed the birds which were quite friendly they even ate the food out of his mouth.

We played the lakes course which had wide fairways and plenty of bunkers. The course is well maintained and the pro at the shop was helpful.

Four couples recently had a golfing weekend here. The men played 18 holes each day and the ladies toured the area visiting wineries in Rutherglen, among other things.
We arrived on the Friday night and enjoyed a 2 night package at the Resort. It was excellent value for the money including breakfast and dinner for the 2 days. We stayed in the Banksia rooms and they were very well appointed with a kitchenette, king bed and very roomy throughout. We enjoyed sitting on the large balcony each afternoon overlooking the golf courses to enjoy a wine. Unfortunately the pool, although solar heated ,was too cold for a dip.Would definitely recommend a stay here.

I have been coming here for about 30 years and have always stayed at the course. The rooms are getting quite tired and need some TLC and some upgrades to standard 'hotel' offerings, such as Foxtel in the rooms and free WiFi in the rooms.

Despite some minor shortcomings, it is very convenient for the golf course.

This is a fabulous part of the Victoria New South Wales Murray River. Red Gums, blue skies and idyllic weather when we were there.
The resort features two 18 hole golf courses, the Lakes, and the Murray. They are totally unalike with the former more of a links set up, and the latter down among the Murray gums flanking the Murray river for a number of the holes. Both are extremely picturesque. Both are rated 125 so the average golfer has a chance to play well.

The resort also features a pool, bowling rinks, croquet lawns, a Gym. In addition there is a small 50 seat theatre, gaming machines, a Bistro, and a bar area serving light refreshments.

As far as accommodation and the amenities offered there is nothing to fault with this resort. The rooms were clean and tidy and the grounds are beautifully maintained.

It is the bar area and light refreshments where this resort falls down. Service is slow with just one person serving, and in many cases needing to make up a sandwich.I suppose this is a management staffing problem but clearlt two are required particularely around the lunch times. We did notice a second staff member leaving obviously having served her shift. To avoid holding up the queue behind us we avoided the sandwiches and ordered a pie and some sausage rolls. We considered both, particularly the pie, had been reheated a number of times, perhaps the first time being the day before. The pastry was extremely hard and the meat was half overcooked. A very poor effort in a resort which is not inexpensive

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the golf courses are recommended
