We stayed (3) nights in RM#309 & loved our spacious room. We liked the design & layout if the room. We did have to practice learning the lightning switch system. The cleaning staff did a spotless job every day in the room. We found the security safe to be challenging & needed assistance with it in the end. The motion lighting in the corridors displayed intelligent design concepts as did many other features in the hotel. It was a smart, chic and organic style. The outside dining/ social terrace - patio was fantastic for viewing sunset and afternoon promenade activities. The restaurant staff was very attentive & the delivery of food, drinks and the quality were very high. Only on one morning occasion (when the Contract Galicia conference group) was adjourning for their morning breakfast conclusión did the kitchen & staff have challenges keeping up with the other breakfast guests. I would like to especially recognize a staff member, Inzes, who took extraordinary care with assisting us in a number of requests. She was kind, courteous, intelligent & personable. There was another colleague (of Inzes’) that I unfortunately did not write her name- she was also lovely and very efficient.
Every morning we had the privilege of waking to the amazing sight of the Castelo Santa Maria. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring on foot in the little seaside village. We highly recommend this hotel and certainly plan on returning.

All reviews sea view perfect location rooftop pool and jacuzzi junior suite excellent hotel my parents a wonderful stay exceeded our expectations special mention incredible views watching the sunset delicious food minute drive recommend this hotel comfortable bed high standard santa cruz

Wonderful views, attentive staff and well designed room. Good food. Breakfast menu different to most places and bar food at night very tasty. Relaxing environment with pleasant places to wander around.

Fantastic views from every room. Food was great. Pools and Jacuzzi were also good. Service was excellent. Rooms had all you needed and more. 97% overall. We dropped 3 % as rooms were not as clean as some other Hotels. Would come back and stay at the drop of a hat
Room tip: Book jacuzzi time early for sundown

Great hotel with a personal service. We liked the quality of the main restaurant (Ola). Our room had a spectacular sea view with modern and minimalistic setting. We really liked the area and the next door park. The fresh see breeze and morning coffee couldn't be better. Good breakfast selection. Many international tourists and even if the hotel was full while we were there, the staff never looked tired or impatient with us. We appreciated the reception team's attention. Thank you all. We will be back next year, for sure.

Restaurant is terrible. The breakfast and dinner service is a joke. Just like Fawlty Towers. They bring you the wrong order; the forget your order; huge delays. Breakfast is to be avoided!

For sure the view from the hotel is amazing. It’s a quiet nice hotel with a perfect view from the window. Food is superb. They miss communication from one department to another and we had to wait hours and call the reception more and more times to clean our two rooms. Reception staff unfortunately are not good, that’s why I rated 4. But other staff are amazing. Laura from the restaurant who is a manager there is amazing and so professional. She solved all of my problems. This is the person who I am sure can be also promoted to a higher position as she really managed to make my stay perfect, finding solutions to make baby food, figure out things she wasn’t in charge of (room things) etc. thank you, Laura. Waiters are at the top level as well in the whole hotel. So unfortunately there were things to improve but overall I was really happy to stay here and will be glad to come back again one day.
