It was a real experience to come to this genuine small town fish restaurant in the countryside in Orotava. First we had boiled Octopus arms that our host did cut at the table and flavored with balsamico and oliv oil and a bit of pimiento, so good. With that we had Escaldon de gofio (like a porridge) with Mojo Verde. Really good. Then very tasty fresh fish (Medregal and Picudo) with salad including very mild red onion grown in the neighborhood. Mild as almost an apple! Good wine of the house and finaly we shared a dessert; Frangolo made from gofio and palm syrup.
We will for sure be back next time in Tenerife.
