I was at Oceanique for a week for a conference... and we had a great time. The rooms were clean and crisp (tho a bit small if you've got a kid). The pool is perfect, commons area quite nice. The food was FANTASTIC. I didn't know you could eat "continental" food of this caliber in an Indian hotel. Highly recommend it.
The hotel is not right on the beach front, but we liked that better cuz it gave us a small buffer from the wind and sand. Close to Colva junction, but far enough to be away from the hassle and crowds.

Room Tip: There are only 2 kinds of rooms: with 2 twin beds, or with one queen. Families will be cramped eithe...

we stayed in hotel for 3 n/4d i.e 9/2/12 to 12/2/12. After booking via a travel agent when i checked the reviews of this hotel i got scared that may be we have choosen a wrong place to stay. But here i like to clarify that definately this hotel is not the best option but its not that worst too as mentioned by many people.
1) The pictures they have shown, hotel is exactly like that. Rooms are clean also only bathrooms need repairs as tiles are old so in pictures they look good but actually bathrooms doesn't give you that good feel.
2) Room service too is not bad.
3) BUT AT THE SAME time, staff is not very friendly, most of them carrying a high attitude and will never greet you nor will pass a smile until or unless you go and talk to them. they don't carry the attitude of "MAY I HELP YOU" but again here i like to mention if you ask them for any help they provide you immediately without cribbing. so may be they require a training how to deal with guests.
4) Well it is located near the beach with 5 minute walk but that shortcut has fisherman's hoses so stinging so badly that you can't bear. but with logn path 10-15 minute walk only and also safe.
5) Lastly BREAKFAST was pathetic. this is the only word that i can use. First two days there was just a minor change in the menu and that too was not offering much options to eat.
then we suggested them to change the menu and they changed also but that too was very disappointed.
So even if our breakfast was included, we only had butter and bread.

Room Tip: All rooms are pool facing but better to go for rooms on FF rather then GF.

The best service - the best staff - we had wonderful 2 weeks at this hotel and enjoyed every minut - your food was good and thank you for all the help we received due to my broken arm.
We also had the best driver in Goa who took us to many nice places (let us not talk about the waterfall) his name is Antonio - he was a very nice person and a very safe driver.

Hope to be back again maybe next year.

Well..... some travel agent suggested us to stay in this resort in December. To begin with DO NOT JUDGE THIS HOTEL BY ITS WEBSITE. The pictures are deceptive. We stayed in one of the pool facing rooms on the ground floor. The services of the hotel were pathetic. No one came for house cleaning despite constant reminders. Most importantly there were two people MANDAR & BASU who misbehaved with us. The breakfast is PATHETIC. A tiny cafe with stale food. If at all you prefer to stay in Colva DO NOT STAY HERE. BEWARE! THIS HOTEL IS FRAUD!

We had a very good experience with this resort. Its convinientky located near the beach and having good swiming / gym facilities. Rooms are neat and have good pool side view. The food though is not very good.

After looking at some horrible comments about this beautiful place... I was quite afraid but the moment I landed in Goa everything seems to be just in place. The taxi they sent was a brand new Innova (which I never expected).
Once I entered the hotel, it was just same as I have seen in the pictures (on the hotel's website)
Staff was very kind & courteous. The rooms very super clean & the view from the 1st floor balcony was awesome..
If we talk about meals.. breakfast was quite good & dinner was ok ( as expected)
it is 100 mts away from the colva beach & yes we have a cross the fishermen colony with a pathetic smell but thats ok for 2 mins..

Overall a decent place to relax & enjoy
(Dont miss free drinks from 7PM to 9PM server on pool side if opted)
