This hotel is well hidden and difficult to find, however when you reach Calle san Francisco at the ehe end of the road (and its one way) you will see a large old church, go up the drive to the churcch turn left and all be clear! The hotel is built around the old courtyard and has very spacious rooms. The restaurant was charming as was the waitress who was so helpfull. The food was fairly priced and really well prepared the wine with menu del dia was a good Duero. Well worth visiting

This is an impressive building in Mirande de Ebro, and within easy walking distance of local shops and restaurants. There is plenty of free parking in the grounds. The interior of the building is also very beautiful and gives an air of quiet relaxation.

The room was of a good size with large twin beds and a free bottle of water. However, the room very, very warm although the radiator was not on and there was no other visible means of controlling any unseen heating system (it may have been underfloor) and this resulted in a sleepless night because it was so uncomfortable. The other reason for a sleepless night was the noise factor. Although originally a convent there was no silent order here. Doors in the corridor were banged through the night and it was easy to hear the neighbour actually going to the toilet as well as flushing it afterwards!! Such a shame.

The wifi connection was free, but not very reliable. Breakfast offered a good choice and was plentiful. The staff ensured that everything was replenished quickly.

All in all not bad value for money if you enjoy being roasted and are deaf.

We had been travelling Europe for 8 weeks and needed time out ! This was it, so peacefully and good place to recharge. Excellent value for money , much better quality than we expected, 1 night turned into 3. Very traditional area so get to know the food and time rules or you could go hungr!

if this former convent was home to nuns sworn to silence this was it. The hotel is clean and quite comfortable. Despite other comments we found the breakfast quite good when compared with the price paid. At dinner however it was silent. A few other tables eating ( start time 21.00) and apart from the obligatory chat with friendly and efficient waiter there was no sound at all except the hum from the retro Coke chiller against the wall. The dinner food was no better than ok but again for the price it was fine. The whole experience was just lacking in anything other than basics but the basics are clean and are comfortable. Great value .
