A great eatery with a choice of in door or outdoor seating. They specialise in gallerttes, with a wide ranging menu, we opted for the cassoulet and the wine list was also extensive. Staff were able to communicate in English, if needed. Toilet facilities were a good standard. Parking available nearby. Walking distance to camper van park.

We stopped here after a cold but beautiful day touring Mont St Michel. We were hungry and ready for a rest. At 7pm the restaurant was quiet but cozy. There was only one waitress for everyone but she was quick, efficient and sweet. She took the time to answer all my questions about the local producers and food traditions. The food was delicious. I had the fois gras and then cassoulet. Both were the best I had had on this week long trip in Northern France. My friend had an omelette and said which was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We were at Mont-St.-Michel and were staying in a nearby hotel. By sheer dumb luck, we ended up in this place because it was open and took credit cards. We started with a big stoneware pitcher of local cidre brut and a platter of moule frites. The server was dismayed by our lack of technique and demonstrated how to use an empty shell as a pair of tongs to pick the mussels out. Some hearty slices of pain complet were a nice change from baguettes and worked well to soak up the mussel broth. We followed this up with fois gras on a buckwheat crepe filled with onion jam. The flour for the crêpes is ground at a windmill that's less than a mile from the restaurant. The farm where the ducks are raised is even closer, and the fois gras is prepared in house by the chef. To top it off, we had a crêpe with salted butter caramel and a glass of 30-year-old Calvados. Outstanding, simple, fresh food with service that's attentive without being annoying.

This restaurant is a short drive away from the main parking lot of the Mont St Michel. We wanted to avoid the real tourist traps right near the abbey.

We noticed that a lot of French people were eating here. So, that's usually a good sign.

We didn't have a reservation and we didn't wait long for a table either.

The Charcutiere (€9.60) and Plerguer (€12) were tasty savory crepes.

We had the Duchesse (€6.60) and Confiture (€4.20) (homemade jam) crepes for dessert. I thought the jam was a bit too runny.

Service was fine. Customers were mostly couples with young children.

Lunch for two with an apple cider (€5.20) and two expressos (€4.00) was ~€42.

We went for a dinner having noticed this restaurant a few days earlier driving by.
We had a lamb dish and the vegetarian dish which were not huge portions but very tasty. The galettes and the crêpes (crêpe Suzette and with caramel sauce) were delicious and for us always worth coming back for.
The service was friendly, the wine recommendations a bit vague.
