This is a exclusive Seafood restaurant. Only serves dinner and comprises about 15 seats. There is no name board outside the entrance nor any advertisements indicating there is a restaurant behind the lovely dark Oak looking door. The owner Honda-San is the Chef and together with his wife personally attend to guests with other very helpful and courteous staff. There is no menu with fixed dishes to choose from. The dishes depend on the availability of sea food available in the morning and purchased fresh from the market. Therefore Honda- san decides the type of dishes that are available for the day. Customers have to discuss with management and order according to the type of dishes available. The presentation and taste are unique and of very high quality.
As a starter a delicious Eggplant dish was served. Two kinds of very fresh Snapper fish was served. The fish with seaweed underneath and wrapped in radish type leaves and cooked covered in salt was outstanding. Another dish was a Snapper fish soup with special mushrooms on top of grilled Rice balls in a soup. Very tasty.
Dessert. Exotic ice cream made out of an extract of fermented rice - used for making sake wine. Fruit and jelly. Fruit dish in which the grape has been soaked in alcoholic beverage in a jelly of citrus sudachi. A grand ending.
Enjoying a real Japanese dinner at this restaurant is really an experience.
