This is a mid-range hotel, perfectly clean and very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful even though many struggled to communicate in English.
The rooms were clean, a little basic and tired in places, although it appears they are building an entire new wing adjacent to the current building which will make a huge difference. Hopefully they will refurbish the old building once the new one is complete.
This hotel's main advantage is convenience. You can take direct train from Narita airport to Daimon station without changing, which is great if you have suitcases. Journey time approx. 1h30. You'll save a lot on coach and/or taxi fares just by using the train.
Once you are at the hotel, Daimon station is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The JR line station is about 6 minutes walk (Hamamatsucho Station). There are lots of good, reasonable restaurants to eat at, within 3 minutes walk, including a 7/11 very close by - my kids enjoyed having a budget breakfast there every morning with tasty yoghurt and donuts.
To summarise, this is an excellent hotel for those wanting a good compromise between value and comfort in Tokyo.More
