“Nice room and location”
Reviewed 27 April 2012

I stayed in the club floor. But I was informed that the club lounge would not used when I tried to book the meeting room in the club lounge before I arrived. A meeting room in business center was arranged instead. I have no complants about this.

However, I found that the club lounge/club floor was in inovation when I arrived, the noise of the innovation was really annoying. I would consider other hotel if I know it before.

Great with the night view from the rooms and the convenient location. The service was good, too. I really appreciated with the snacks and coffee which I recieved when I waiting to check in ( I arrived there half hour before the check in time). The food in restaurants (I only tried the French Kitchen) were good too even considering the high price, as the price are high everywhere in Tokyo.

The only thing I hope is, the next business trip here will not with the nosie again.

This is a great hotel. The pool is beautiful and the spa is very good if eye wateringly expensive. The breakfast is amazing. Great bathroom and sheets. Decor is super tasteful and lots of wood etc - soothing if a bit anonymous. The only thing I didn't like is that it's part of a big shopping complex so disorientating, but that's Tokyo for you! Roppongi is a quieter area and in retrospect it was a good choice to ease me in to the city.

Excellent service, loved the concierge - helped plan two business trips, quiet and subdued environment Room was lovely - great shower/tub wet room, view, bed and international TV, wireless connection, business centers, translators. All things you are grateful for on an overseas business trip. Would be hard to return and NOT stay at this property.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces Mt Fuji view if possible.

The Hyatt Rapongi is a first class hotel with first class facilities. The service is excellent and the rooms very good. Rooms are the standard city view but some you can see Fuji in the distance. Curtains, black out and lights all controllable from the bed and the list of TV channels covers a reasonable amount of languages. The restaurants are top class but eye waveringly expensive with a small beer at about £9 UK and dinner with a bottle of wine for two in excess of £130. The hotel is next to Rapongi station so travel around town is easy. It a hotel full of business peopler the very rich and is certainly not for the non expense account family holiday. Top class hotel in a top class location close to the bad boy night life of Rapongi but be prepared to set fire to your expense account for a modest night out.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of Fuji, other than that they are all pretty much the same

The Roppongi Grand Hyatt has retained the same high standards over the years - good size well equipped rooms (able to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids), good onsen and pool.  Quality and far cheaper restaurants can be found in the office tower next door (note the 6th floor access from the hotel becomes the 5th floor in the office tower); drinking in the Hyatt is expensive.  Worth visiting the observation platforms and mori museum.  You trade parks for night life between the central hotels and Ropponggi (there is no good place to jog) but the Hyatt is still well situated for business and train stations.

Stayed here for just one night (sadly) en route back to the UK after a holiday around Japan. I wish we could have stayed longer - everything about this place is perfect.

Rooms are big, full of useful gadgets and spotlessly clean. Bath/WC/Shower area is almost as big as the huge bedroom. Plenty of TV channels (in English) to flick through and in room high speed wifi provided for free.

Location is excellent as the hotel is just above the subway line. Staff really helpful even at 4 am when we checked out!

Will look forward to staying here again and hope to actually have time to use the pool this time!
