Wandered through the rain to find this gem hidden in Shibuya. Simple 3 choices starting at ¥800 to ¥1,000 for ramen, or ramen with egg. Waited in line for 15 minutes but the line moves fast and the ramen is delicious. Rich broth, tender chashu, wonderful egg. Enjoy the quiet and the slurping of noodles.

We tried this Ramen, because we read it was the best in Shibuya. That could actually be the case, but I didn't like the strong fish flavor of the stock and the pork also absorbed the flavor.
If you don't like strong fish flavor, I would not recommend this restaurant.
But if you appreciate the seas flavor, it could be a interesting place to go while you're in Tokyo.

+ Good broth
+ Good ramen
+ Quick service

+/- Small menu

- Cha sieuw

Went here early and there was already a queue. Luckily, it goes fast, the service is good and people eat and go. The choice is limited, but this is not per definition a bad thing. The cha sieuw was oke, it was not soft and tasty enough. The broth was tasty, it was worth waiting. The flavour is, as compared to other ramen place, good. The broth taste like a good Tonkotsu broth ramen with heavy notes of fish flavour. I didn't like the fish flavour that much, but others in my company did.

Recommended for a try out.

A nice, clean and simple ramen shop. There's the usual machine to pay before ordering, the usual icy water and of course the owner doesn't speak english, but you should come here to eat and not to talk. The broth is delicate, a nice egg side soft pork slices and the noodle are greatly cooked.
There's displayed an award for best ramen, i'm not a conniseur, but in my huble opinion is well deserved.
The shop is not so easy to find using google maps, but the outside is clearly pictured in a photo here on TA.

This place is a small, basic, no-frills noodle bar, which seats about 10 people. There isn't a sign outside which displays the name of the restaurant in any language, so look for a picture of a steaming bowl (see the attached photo) and a line of local folks waiting patiently to get in.

Once inside the shop, look for a vending machine located directly to your right - this is the menu, which has all three different ramen bowls the shop has to offer. Starting from the left button, you have plain ramen at 500 yen, egg ramen at 700 yen and pork ramen at 1000 yen (as of Aug 28, 2012). Insert your bill, get a ticket, sit at a free spot at the bar and exchange your ticket for a delicious, satisfying bowl of ramen noodles to slurp away. We ordered the pork ramen and it was yummy with broth tasting a bit soy saucy, a bit seafood-y and a bit porky.

Folks at the shop are really nice and they speak very little English. Go there for a delicious authentic Japanese ramen experience where the locals eat.
