Shinjyuku subway line station is Hotel's B2. having good location and good view from the room, Tokyo tower and Sky tree. Shinjyuku subway line staritly connected Keio line, eazy to go Takao-san, Akihabara, Asakusa. Offcourse onther line station is convenient, JR, Odakyu, Oedo line takes few minutes.

Room Tip: please select the tower view room.

Stayed for 8 nights, standard double room (south-west facing) on the 32nd floor. Luckily, the weather was clear for most days, so I could see Fuji all the time.

Positives:
- Location
- Views: hotel starts on the 20th floor. This is the big attraction for me.
- Cleanliness: room was immaculate everyday, tea-stock replinished, everything neat and tidy like it's the first time to enter the room. The tail of the active toilet paper was neatly folded into a triangular shape. Cleaning lady also placed a small towel under my personal toiletries (shaver, hair gel etc.) on the bathroom sink-counter and neatly arranged them (it's the little touches that count).
- Very new 32-inch HD-ready TV, even with some HD channels.
- English-speaking newspaper hanging outside on the door handle, even though I didn't ask.
- Little shop on the lobby floor with drinks, noodles/soup snacks, fresh rice snacks.
- Arrived at 12 noon after around 42 hours with no sleep, and was allowed to check-in at 1pm, which is 1 hour early (strict 2pm check-in). Thought it was no big deal at the time. After some research, found that this is quite unusual and a special exception - guests should be more prepared and know the hotel check-in time.

Negatives:
- Staff came across as being very cold; no smiling, no warmth, maybe a bit nervous. Generally didn't seem happy workers.
- On checkout, there was no "thank you very much for staying with us"..."did you enjoy your stay?" etc. These are basics of good customer service. It was just like "thanks, bye". Bit disappointing, especially after a long 8-night stay.
- No mechanism to provide feedback. Always a bad sign for a customer-facing business.
- Pillows were a bit too hard.
- No snacks in the vending machines on each floor; just drinks.
- No instructions on how to use the kettle (yes, it is a bit different to western ones).
- Some English instructions on how to use the toilet would be good (what the hell do all the buttons do?)

Room Tip: - Below around 30th floor, view of Fuji may be blocked by an adjacent building. - Be prepared for a strict check-in time.

Just left Tokyo after 2nd visit to the Hotel Century Southern Tower. Such a great location and next to Shinjuku station which is rather complicated to get out of but once you get the hang of it terrific. Staff helpful and speak good English. all amenities and shops close by.

Great value. Good prices for extended stay by hotel site. Staff very friendly and speaks very good English (something rare in Japan). Great location , in Shinjuku southern terrace, very close to JR station and also to Toei subway station. Southern terrace is very beautiful in Christmas time. Very clean and spacious room and the bathroom in the same standard. Amazing views of Tokyo, night and day. I even see Mont Fuji by my window room (number 3374). Great restaurants. Try teppanyaki menu in the Japanese restaurant and you won't regret. I don't know if I will travel again to Japan because I live in Brazil but I certainly would return to Century Southern Tower in amazing Tokyo.

I just completed a 3-night stay at the Hotel Century Southern Tower in Tokyo while the city was experiencing a very cold winter. Much has already been said about the hotel's excellent location in Shinjuku so there is no need to further repeat this feature of the hotel. I also agree with what the other travelers have said about the large rooms which are immaculately kept clean by the affable staff. Kudos should also go to the polite and friendly personnel at the hotel's front desk. No request is too much trouble for them and they respond to any query or request with that distinct stamp of courtesy which only the Japanese have mastered so beautifully. Throughout my short stay, I felt warm and secure knowing that I made the right decision to stay at the Hotel Century Southern Tower.
