The hotel has the Tokyo Metro Seibu line *right behind* the main entrance,*three* of the JR Shinjuku Station exits within a 500-metre radius (East, West, South), and the Shinjuku Bus Terminal to get your airport. There's no way you can be stuck unless you're hopelessly direction-challenged. If that's not enough you have Lumine, Alta, and PePe department stores within the stations, and that's not counting the tax-free shopping streets just across the road from the hotel. You could actually stay in this area for your entire Tokyo trip and you wouldn't miss anything. The only negative point would be you are smack-dab in Kabuki-cho, renowned red-light district where everyone you see could be a gangster/host/hostess out to rob you (there are English police warnings about this near Toho Cinema). Nobody'll disturb you if you mind your own business, but just be careful as you walk the smaller alleys around. Otherwise would stay here again if I could.

One of the best located hotel in Tokyo. Shinjuku is the place fits most travelers. Full of restaurants and other amusement places, conveniently connected with airport routes and subways. The hotel looks new and clean, with all amenities you need.

Room Tip: In Japan, room rate is different for single or double occupancy.

Just finished my 3 nights staying at this hotel with satisfaction. Location is good for transportation and shopping it is just 5 - 7 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station. Lots of restaurants and even with MacDonald nearby. 7-11 or Lawson are just within 2 - 3 minutes walk. The room size is good in Japanese standard. At least you can open your 2 travel cases at the same time. Despite central heating, they have installed a cooling machine inside the room if you feel too hot. When their Viking restaurant has finished renovation (said to be in April), I can give them upto 4.5 stars. Right now, the breakfast place is not that attractive. Room services and staff are all very good. They changed the bed sheet and pillow bags everyday. No microwave in the room but there is a small fridge to enable you to keep drinks or fruits bought outside. Lastly, when booking the room, make sure it is non-smoking room if you are not a smoker.

I spend my last night in Tokyo at Prince Hotel and absolutely love it. Amazing location (close to restaurants, subway station), great value and amazing view from my room. From check in to check out I only met great people and very helpful employees. The room was large, for Japan standard, with nice and comfortable bed and great size bathroom. My only negative comment will be the smoking smell in the room... besides that everything was really great.

Room Tip: great location in Shinjuku

We had a 15 hour layover in Japan and decided to stay in Tokyo for one night. We found a great last minute discount on Japanican.com for this hotel. Great location with a short walk from Shinjuku Station. We didn't find this out until later that the hotel is connected to the Shinjuku Station from the 2nd floor of the hotel. Staff was incredibly nice! Check in counter is on basement level.

It's also a short walk to enjoy the rest of the Shinjuku nightlife. Golden Gai is about a 10 minute walk.

I can agree with other people that the room was a bit small if you're a westerner and the bathroom was a little outdated but I didn't have a problem with it at all. I mean, come on, why would you want to be stuck in your hotel room the entire time? You're in Tokyo! GO EXPLORE!!!

Overall, the hotel is completely safe, convenient, clean and a great choice for anyone who would like to enjoy the surrounding areas of the hotel.

We found a great last minute deal on Japanican.com vs. It was usually $190 USD/night but got it for $102 USD (before taxes/fees). I'm not sure if that's how it'll work every time but it's worth a shot!

Room Tip: Got a great deal on Japanaican.com vs. other sites (booking, agoda, etc).
