The Agnes is very well located in Kagurazaka which is loaded with excellent restaurants of all kind. The area around the hotel is very lively at night yet still the hotel is very quite. It is near the subway station that will take you everywhere in Tokyo. The room we had was very good and the service is top class. Highly recommended

Room tip: We stayed in 411 it is a suite. Excellent value

The Agnes Hotel is in the neighbourhood of Kagurazaka, Tokyo. It is at the top of a short hill away from the traffic. The room was very comfortable and for Japan very spacious. It had all the standard facilities but also extras, completely unexpected but vey welcome. There was a sink, an electric hotplate, a microwave and most surprisingly a washer dryer. In all my years of travelling the world for business I have never had so many extras.

Breakfast was good but the a very quirky surprise was that on Mondays, the day I checked in, the restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner and there is no room service. The restaurant menu was not very appealing. For this reason only I am giving it 4 stars instead of five. In true Japanese tradition of perfect hospitality the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. There are many places to eat in the nearby streets and alleyways so the less than satisfactory dining facilities was not a problem. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Agnes!

This is not a typical Tokyo tourist hotel. It is located just behind Tokyo Rica University and busy Waseda Dori in Kagurazaka. You are sourounded with trees and very quiet considering how close you are from stores and restaurants. You are in the middle of one of the well known epicurean centers of Tokyo. But you have to know where these wonderful traditional Japanese places are. Hidden behind narrow streets. If you are a repeater of Tokyo, I highly recommend this hotel. You can stay in one bedroom with kitchen unit and price is very fair.

Hotel was in a quiet neighborhood and 5 minutes walk from the nearest Toei Line subway station Iidabashi.
NB: Not recommended if you try to reach the hotel by subway if you have large Checkin bags but it's fine if you have light carry on!)
From Haneda Airport: you can take the Airport bus ¥1130 to Hotel Grand Palace then a taxi ride ¥890-1000 or
From Narita Airport: Take the Airport Shuttle to Hotel Grand Palace ¥3100 and then a taxi ride!

The hotel was very clean and provide good housekeeping!

There's microwave, jacuzzi coffee maker etc.

They provide bed turndown service and bedsheets replaced every day, which is certainly a plus for us!

Breakfast is a mini buffet type that comes with the freshly squeezed orange juice to start with and eggs to order!
The fresh fruits provided are of good quality and all in all it was a good experience staying in this hotel and will definitely come back!

The room size is enought to stay, and especially, the breakfast is so nice. Also you can enjoy the lively shopping district nearby. You will surely waver where to enter because there are too many shops and restaurants.
