We go to TomTom throughout the year but this was the first time for Christmas Eve dinner. In Japan, on Christmas Eve, most restaurants have a fixed menu and are extra expensive so you have to be careful. Especially since they try to imitate (poorly) the western idea of a Christmas dinner. But TomTom's was purely Italian with added seasonal flavors of Japan, like kabocha and sashimi marinee, mixed in. The menu was fixed but with lots of choice between pastas. pizza, and grilled fish or meat. The foie gras pizza was divine and the grilled meat dish had a delicious red wine sauce with a hint of prune. We were given extra dolce cheese cake and chocolate in addition to the dessert of grapefruit with fresh sweet cheese. This was the Kinchincho station branch but we have been many times to the Higashi Mukojima one also. Especially good for birthdays since the waiters all sing Happy Birthday in Italian to you. The best thing about these restaurants is that the food is very seasonal and the menu always has new things to try.
