Small and very intimate. Food was excellent. Fish - bass & turbot was as good as it gets. Steaks & lamb lovely. Will be going back.

We dont get a chance to visit this restaurant very often, so this time was a long awaited supper with old school mates, now we are all 60.
Three courses, all served to perfection. Scallops, rare rib eye, and that baked vanilla cheesecake. all fairly simple cuisine...but expertly cooked. And there are a lot of restaurants that cant pull this quality of food off!
Book up well in advance....and give this place a try...you will not be disappointed.

We had been hearing good things about this restaurant for some time and finally got round to booking. The space inside is quite tight and probably not ideal if you were looking for an intimate experience. However the stand out feature is undoubtably the quality of the food followed closely by the warmth of the welcome and the service. We chose different starters and tried each other's and they were both excellent. We both had halibut for our main which was superb. The wine choice available was also good and we enjoyed every minute of our visit. Importantly lately with all the wintry weather we've been having was the place was lovely and warm inside.. Another real bonus is how easy it is to park outside.

Went here last Friday to celebrate my sons birthday. Restaurant was warm and cosy considering the snow outside. Made to feel very welcome. The food we had was amazing. Good size portions and well presented. 3 of us had halibut/ sea bass with the others having steak and burgers. Starters of monkfish goujons, prawns and scallops were excellent to. Good drinks selection and desserts at reasonable prices. Will definitely be back as food excellent. Would highly recommend you eat here.
