This review is about the restaurant only, not the hotel that we didn't try.
We were staying in the area for a few days and having read a few good reviews about l'Orangerie decided to give it a try. Most of the restaurants in the area were still in hibernation mode and only opened at the weekend.
There were only a few tables occupied on the terrace overlooking a beautiful expand of lawn and trees. The diners were all residents to the hotel.
Food and service were excellent. Menu was mainly based on local products, cooked with precision and refinement without falling into the trap of average modern cuisine.
The owners deserve to be better known and one can only hope that summer will bring enough business for them to keep this little gem running for years to comeMore
