We have visited Mallorca since the 1970s and stayed in some lovely hotels and self catering apartments all over the island , but this is our favourite. Biniali is a perfect village and, being fairly central, very well situated to visit every part of the island. It's about three miles from Binissalem from where there are frequent trains into Palma. To get around, you would need a car (or a bicycle if fit!) although there is a bus, but I'm not sure how frequent the service is (buses generally radiate out of Palma).
Our visit coincided with the June (2017) heatwave and the apartment was wonderfully cool and shaded, We kept the shutters closed on the whole. The bedrooms (2) were cool and comfortable with good storage for clothes and, for readers, excellent bedside lights. The kitchen was fine and also well equipped with a cooker that worked well, a huge fridge, etc. and a lot of the bits and pieces you have at home but rarely see in holiday lets. Some wine had been left for us! The sitting room (TV, etc.) was great, but we mostly sat and ate out in the evenings on the charming, very private patio, which, with high-ish walls all round, was very sheltered. It was also very pretty with pots of flowers and a beautiful morning glory covering one wall, and an old well - safely covered as it was very deep.
One thing too, car parking was usually right outside the house. The village had two excellent bars and a restaurant - we went to the bars for morning coffee (good) but didn't try the restaurant as we generally had menus del dias when out and about during the day and just a snack at home in the evenings.
A brilliant holiday home and we would love to return in June 2018! Many thanks to Juana and Monica and I hope clearing the fridge out after we left wasn't too much of a task!
Lovely house and owner. Very traditional house in quite village but still very close to bars and good resturants. House contained everything you could possibly need from Wi fi to washing machine, brilliant
