We - family of 4 (2 sons aged 8 and 6) - stayed there at the end of August for 4 nights. This was our second time there, though with the first one being 9 years earlier during our honeymoon. We had fond memories of our 2 nights back then and decided to return with our kids. We weren't disappointed. Although the hotel is very popular with travellers from the DACH region, we did not feel as outsiders, on the contrary, the multi-lingual staff (I heard several of them speak German, English and Spanish) went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist in our various requests (from restaurant recommendations, to pool-side dining and recovering lost phones/sunglasses/inflatables, etc.).
Why didn't I give 5 stars? As an admittedly very spoilt food lover I found the price-value of their dinner and breakfast offering not to be of the standard that the rest of the hotel was in. Although it seemed that all other guests enjoyed the food very much. There is one notable exception though - the lunch tapas menu at the pool was delicious.More
